Sapling plantation drive to kick off from Feb 11
As per the plan, tree plantation will target all three provinces

Prime Minister Imran Khan would launch a countrywide tree plantation drive on February 11 that would continue for six days as the federal government finalized a strategy to plant 141.6 million saplings under the Green Pakistan Programme during spring.
The armed forces, police and civil armed services, local bodies, corporations, municipalities, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, industrial estates, hospitals, dispensaries, farms and agricultural farmhouses, Aukaf department, civil aviation, jails and educational institutions would also participate in a large-scale plantation campaign.
According to documents available with Daily Express, the government has set up a target to plant five million trees on February 11, the first day of the spring plantation campaign.
On 12 February, saplings would be planted in areas of the armed forces, police and civil armed services.
On February 13, trees will be planted in all local bodies, corporations, municipal areas, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies and industrial estates of the country.
COMSATS plans to plant 20,000 trees
On February 14, all public hospitals, dispensaries, farmhouses and agricultural farmhouses would undergo the spring plantation drive.
On February 15 trees will be planted in Aukaf department, civil aviation departments and jails whereas on February 16, the campaign will target the educational institutions including schools, colleges and universities.
As per the plan, the tree plantation target for Punjab is 12 million, Sindh 12 million, KPK 100 million, Balochistan 1.2 million, Azad Kashmir 4.8 million, Gilgit-Baltistan 7 million, CDA, NHA and defence ministry 0.5 million each while 20000 saplings have been planned for Pakistan Electronic Complex.
