Student sexually assaulted in Kasur

Accused Waqas allegedly abducted the girl and took her to an undisclosed location in a vehicle

A 10-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Kasur’s Pattoki City, police told Express News on Thursday.

The police said that the victim’s mother, S*, a resident of Tabba Chak-1/K, lodged a complaint at the police station. She stated that her daughter R* was a 10th grade student at a local school.

She added that on the day of the incident, R* went to the school but she did not return home. The mother maintained that she went to the school to find her daughter. S* mentioned that later, she learnt that suspect Waqas Rasheed abducted the student and took her to an undisclosed location in a vehicle.


She claimed the accused raped R* and later dumped her on a street in an unconscious state.

The victim’s mother demanded that the police arrest the suspect and punish him sternly for committing such a heinous act.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and arrested the accused. Further investigation was under way.

Earlier, an eight-year-old madrassa student was sexually abused by two influential men in Rahim Yar Khan’s Shedani Sharif area.

Police said that the boy, a resident of Fazalabad, was on his way to the madrassa when Sohail and Naeem abducted him and took him to a campsite. The accused allegedly sexually assaulted the victim and fled the scene after committing the offence.
