Clean Up Act: Markets to be shifted outside city

The MDA is currently appraising plots of land suitable to replace the markets with.

MULTAN: Multan Development Authority (MDA) director general Mumtaz Ahmad Qureshi said that the food grain market, iron market and truck stand would be shifted outside the city this month.

The MDA has begun a search for suitable sites outside the city and the process will be completed in consultation with local traders. The MDA is currently appraising plots of land suitable to replace the markets with.
