'Spider-Man: Far From Home' trailer will have you spinning
Latest intsallment of Spider-Man franchise will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers: Endgame
The trailer for Marvel's latest offering, Spider-Man: Far From Home is finally here.
In the two-minute clip, Peter Parker leaves for a trip to Europe with his friends, only for it to be hijacked by none other than Nick Fury himself. Samuel L Jackson’s character has a job in mind and it is not yet clear why he does not go to the Avengers instead.
Since Far From Home is set after Avengers: Endgame, we wonder if it’s safe to speculate that all the superheroes (including Iron Man) are actually dead and Fury is short of Avengers to fight threats like the terrifyingly powerful Elementals.

Peter is accosted by Fury in typical the latter’s signature fashion (he makes Ned go to sleep with a tranquiliser dart). He has a job for Peter. The superhero later appears in a black stealth suit, presumably given by Fury.
However, the trailer does not offer anything to those looking for a hint regarding Avengers: Endgame, which will release in April this year. It also gives no clue as to how Spider-Man was resurrected after disintegrating in Avengers: Infinity War.
Spiderman: Far From Home will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers' fourth installment. Joining Tom Holland is Jake Gyllenhaal, who is playing the role of Quentin Beck, better known in comics as Mysterio.
SCREENGRAB
Although traditionally a bad guy, Spidey and Mysterio will team up against the Elementals, the real antagonists of the film. The
Elementals are four extra dimensional humanoids who have power over natural forces and ruled the earth before the rise of ancient Atlantis. These include Hydron - the lord of the waters, Magnum – the master of the earth, Hellfire - wielder of flame and Zephyr, mistress of the winds. We see Peter with Hydron, until Mysterio arrives out of nowhere in a puff of green smoke to bail him out.
Spider-Man: Far From Home releases on July 5.
