According to Rescue-1122, the house located on Iran Road near Beaconhouse school caught fire due to a burning heater.

Three injured women were shifted to Benazir Bhutto hospital in critical condition, while one of them succumbed to her injuries before the rescue, said a Rescue-1122 spokesperson.

He said that the house had plenty of woodwork and carpet, which resulted in the spread of fire.

An investigation was launched to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
