True Baloch leadership sidelined: Malik
'Only politics can save the Balochistan from destruction'
QUETTA:
National Party (NP) President Dr Abdul Malik Baloch said politics is the only solution to save the Baloch nation from destruction. However, he added, dummy leadership in the province will not benefit the people.
Addressing party workers in Kosh Kalat on Wednesday, Malik said the true leadership of Balochistan has been sidelined from the parliament following a conspiracy in the 2018 general elections. Despite such circumstances, he said, the party fared well because of its dedicated workers.
The former chief minister said, “We [NP] have always worked for the supremacy of the masses and have executed a number of development projects in Balochistan." Prosperity and welfare for the less fortunate has been a key part of party politics, he added.
Meanwhile, Turbat Mayor Qazi Ghulam Rasool Baloch called for unity among party workers so that the party can tackle the challenges it faces. “After general elections in 2013, the NP worked on record developments for Balochistan,” he added.
