Tragedy: Woman killed in road accident
The woman, who was in her 50s, was shifted to the Benazir Bhutto hospital where she was pronounced dead.
ISLAMABAD:
A woman was killed after being hit by a speeding van at Faizabad flyover on Sunday. The van was on its way to Pirwadhai from Mirpur. When it reached Faizabad flyover, a woman came in front of it. The driver tried to apply the brakes but could not avoid the accident. The driver escaped from the scene. The woman, who was in her 50s, was shifted to the Benazir Bhutto hospital where she was pronounced dead. Later, her body was shifted to the mortuary for identification and legal processing.
