Launch On August 14: Business trains with free meals

At least Rs220 million will be spent on the renovation of these business trains.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways will run air-conditioned business trains where breakfast and dinner will be provided free of charge to passengers. Talking to a news channel, General Manager Railways Saeed Akhtar said on Monday that the business trains would be launched on August 14 and the service will be sponsored by the private sector. He said that air-conditioned business trains will proceed simultaneously from Karachi and Lahore in the evening and will reach their destination the next morning. He said Rs220 million will be spent on the renovation of these business trains.
