Deadly Stakes: 1 killed, 2 missing in swim contest
Rescue officials said they were unable to locate the two men but would continue their search.

Three friends drowned in the Indus River, after making a bet. According to locals in the area, ten Cha Bangu Wala residents went to the Indus River to swim. Yasir, Sadiq and Jamil made a bet on a race to swim into the deep waters. After they didn’t return for over an hour, their friends called rescue workers. Jamil’s body was found washed up on the river banks but Yasir and Sadiq are still missing. Rescue officials said they were unable to locate the two men but would continue their search.
