In a first, a police van breaking traffic rules on a one-way road in Hussainabad was issued a traffic violation ticket. However, the fine was imposed only after Hyderabad SSP Sarfaraz Nawaz Shaikh took notice of a video which was shared on social media. Naveed Khan, driver of the van bearing registration number SPC-097, was issued a fine of Rs500. The police spokesperson said that SSP Shaikh had strictly directed the police van drivers to comply with traffic regulations.
