Golf: Frazar claims first PGA title

“I never thought it would happen,” said an emotional Frazar.

MEMPHIS:
Harrison Frazar defeated Robert Karlsson at the third hole of a sudden-death playoff to claim the first USPGA Tour title of his career in his 355th attempt. His victory was sealed when Sweden’s Karlsson missed his par putt. “I never thought it would happen,” said an emotional Frazar, who is playing on a major medical exemption after surgeries on his hip and shoulder last year. He admitted he had been thinking of giving up golf but he got the job done when it counted becoming the seventh first-time winner on the US tour this year.
