DERA GHAZI KHAN: Heavy rain over Koh-e-Suleman caused a low-level flooding in the canals of Dera Ghazi Khan, affecting dozens of villages.

Floodwater flowing from the mountain range brought down many houses and inundated several villages.

Residents of the affected areas protested outside the Commissioner's Office and appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for support.

Floodwater devastated the area for the second time, but the government has not taken any measures to prevent the incident from recurring.
