An 11-member committee has been formed to work for elimination of discriminatory treatment against women folk in the province. The committee was formed in a consultative workshop organised by Democratic Commission for Human Rights (DCHD) with assistance of an NGO in Mardan district. Officials of District Government Mardan, officials of social welfare department, representatives of different political parties, NGOs and media persons attended the event.
