Katrina Kaif opts out of playing Pakistani dancer in Varun Dhawan's next
Reason behind her declining the offer for Remo D'Souza's upcoming dance film was shared in an official statement
Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has decided against working opposite Varun Dhawan in Remo D'Souza's upcoming dance film, reported Pinkvilla.
Unfortunately, she had to let go of the project because of her current schedule. Katrina's official spokesperson shared the update with her fans in a statement. "Katrina Kaif had to opt out of Remo D'Souza's upcoming dance film owing to her hectic schedule for Bharat."
The statement further read, "Katrina has always been a thorough professional. She decided to step out of the film as her dates were clashing with Bharat, which she is currently shooting for. She wishes the team all the best." The forthcoming film also stars choreographer-actor Prabhudheva alongside Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak.
The Thugs of Hindostan actor joined Bharat after Priyanka Chopra's exit. She will be playing her role opposite Salman Khan. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014's South Korean film Ode To My Father. The film is slated for an Eid release in 2019.
