Animal act: Sahiwal Cow Festival held

FAISALABAD: The annual Sahiwal Cow Festival was held at the research centre for the protection of the Sahiwal Cow (RCPSC) situated at Toba Road in Jhang. The function took place on Saturday and an RSPSC spokesperson told the guests an honorarium would be distributed among the owners of the Sahiwal Cow, currently registered with Red Gold Club. He also said that the animals born through Embryo Transfer Technology were exhibited at the festival. The festival also featured various stalls by the government Livestock Department, as well as private sector investors.
