300 treated for free at FC medical camp

FC doctors treated the patients and provided free medicines and food

QUETTA: As many as 300 patients including women and children were treated during a free medical camp organised by Frontier Corps and Chaman Scouts in Jhagla, outskirts of Toba Achakzai on Friday.

During the camp, FC doctors treated the patients and free medicines and food were also provided to them.

The camp was held under the directives of FC Inspector General Fayaz Hussain Shah. Commandant Chaman Scouts Colonel Khurram Javed and Lieutenant Colonel Shabir Janjua were present on the occasion.

Colonel Javed said that with the protection of borders the FC is also committed to providing basic healthcare facilities to the public and it would be continued.

He said people are being provided modern and timely treatment.

“We are establishing medical camps in far-flung areas because the public living there are deprived of medical facilities and such camps are beneficial to them,” he added.
