Will call it quits after his 31st birthday on October 13.
LONDON:
Britain’s WBO heavyweight champion David Haye insists he will call it quits after his 31st birthday on October 13. Haye, who is set to face IBF and WBO title holder Wladimir Klitschko on July 2, admitted that could be his last fight. He also added that even the prospect of fighting Wladmir’s brother Vitali, who holds the WBC belt, would not alter his plan. “I’ve always said that I’ll retire when I’m 30,” said Haye.
