New iPhone update causes cellular outage
As first reported by Forbes, users took to Twitter to complain about the update that is causing cellular data outages.
Apple’s Twitter Support team has also been redirecting users to restart and update their carrier settings instead of offering any more help.
As a partial solution for all of you: sign up for iOS beta testing program https://t.co/49bLXL0MuM and update to 12.1.3 beta. This way you'll save the time until Apple will come with the solution. When Official 12.1.3 will be out, then you will be able to switch back to GA
We have very similar problem with an Iphone 7. Sent in for repair. Thought it was hardware issue ('no service' on iphone 7)

I don’t have the LTE issue but Face ID no longer works. My flashlight doesn’t work either and the camera takes forever to open up. It’s annoying.

Time to stop buying iphones. They been junk lately.
According to Forbes, Apple had also initiated this version of the update to fix connectivity issues in Turkey with the new iPhones but the problem seems to have worsened with users around the world suffering.
