Nike's self-lacing sneakers to return in 2019
It is expected to be cheaper than the previous version
Nike is all set to launch a second generation of the hi-tech sneakers introduced last year as reported by SoleCollector.
The footwear manufacturing company confirmed the news at the call of announcing the company’s most recent earnings. The Executive Vice President did say that the sneakers would be revealed in spring of the new year.

It came as no surprise that Nike was working on the second-generation of the HyperAdapt series as they had unknowingly slipped the "HyperAdapt 1.0" in a tweet in September.

The HyperAdapt 1.0 featured an internal cable system made from a fishing line along with a pressure sensor in the sole. Sensors in the shoe detect when it’s being worn and a “lace engine” in the base of the sneaker then controls a system of nylon bands that tighten around the foot based on algorithmic calculations. The sneaker also featured two buttons that let wearers tighten or loosen laces.
