Kamal asks private sector to create jobs for engineers

CM hopes future engineers will work towards saving resources

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has stressed that along with government departments all private companies would be bound to create jobs for engineers in the province.

Talking to a delegation of Balochistan Engineers Association on Saturday, the CM vowed for more jobs for unemployed engineers of the province. He said the government of Balochistan has been taking steps for the betterment of all provincial departments through good governance.

Kamal said: “Engineers have been contributing a colossal role in construction and development works. We have decided to make it compulsory for all government departments and private companies to create more jobs for engineers”.

He voiced hope that future engineers will complete the development projects on time and show their full ability in saving provincial resources.

During the meeting, the CM briefed about government’s plan for boosting the mineral sector. He said that reforms in the sector would be helpful in creating employment opportunities.

“Provincial government has introduced internship programmes for diploma holder students that would provide them job opportunities to work with private companies,” Kamal said, adding that it seeks to foster skills development programmes in the province.
