K-P Health Minister Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan announces health card’s services in the tribal district

MIRANMSHAH: Health Minister Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan has said that it is provincial government’s priority to provide health and other facilities at the door step across the province especially tribal districts.

While inaugurating a new female block at the district headquarter hospital in North Waziristan tribal district’s main town, Miranmshah on Saturday, Dr Inamullah said that to minimise the burden on the provincial capital’s hospitals, government was working on policy to facilitate district headquarter hospitals and equipped the with modern technology.

He also announced health card’s services in the tribal district and also approved Independent monitoring unit for the tribal district.

During meeting with the notables of the district he announced a level one trauma centre in DHQ and also sanctioned CT scan, dialyses and Thalassemia centers in the district .

The Agency Surgeon was informed that 77 % health facilities are non-functioning.
