Pakistan's second tallest man Naseer Soomro's health has taken a turn for the worse in Karachi, Express News reported on Wednesday.

Soomro, who is seven feet and nine inches tall, has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at the Darul Sehat Hospital in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

The native of Sindh's Shikarpur city is on a ventilator after facing issues with his breathing. According to doctors, the next 24 hours will be vital to his survival.

The one of the world's tallest personalities works for the national flag carrier – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

According to PIA spokesperson Mashood Tajwar the airline is paying for his medical treatment. He has appealed to the public to pray for Soomro's speedy recovery.
