Google's latest ad on the using the popular Google Assistant shows an adult Kevin McAllister reimagine classic scenes from the movie Home Alone.

Heavy screen time appears to impact childrens' brains

Macaulay Culkin shot to fame as Kevin McAllister in Home Alone, a role that he played for the first two versions of the movie.

The first film showed Kevin being left home as his family flies off for a vacation. It followed a series of attempts by two burglars to rob the house. Kevin managed to outsmart the two burglars using many different ways.

In the ad, Kevin is shown using the Google Assistant to create an impression that Kevin is not home alone saving him going through all the trouble shown in the iconic film.

From adding aftershave to his shopping list to reminding Kevin about cleaning the sheets later, to also turn down the temperature by two degrees, Google Assistant does it at all.

Google launches AI-driven audio news feed

Fans of the movie and character took to Twitter to express their opinion of Google's take on the classic.
