Commissioner satisfied with health facilities
Ghilzai visits District Headquarters Civil Hospital in Chaman

Quetta Division Commissioner Hashim Ghilzai on Saturday visited the District Headquarters Civil Hospital in Chaman and expressed satisfaction over the facilities being provided to the patients and the performance of the staff.
Deputy Commissioner Shafqat Anwar Shahwani, Assistant Commissioner Dr Yasir Iqbal, District Health Officer Farooq Sarwar and doctors including Dr Abdul Sadiq Achakzai, Dr Abdul Samad Achakzai and paramedics were also present on the occasion.
Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Asmatullah Achakzai briefed the commissioner about the construction of the new hospital building.
He said that the building was almost complete and soon the shifting of machinery would be completed.

Ghilzai directed the hospital administration to work hard for serving the ailing humanity and warned that negligence would not be tolerated in this regard.
Replying to a question, the commissioner said the authorities were compiling a list of drought-affected districts after a survey to ensure relief activities.
He said Killa Abdullah district would be included in the list.
On the occasion, the commissioner said the issue of shortage of medicines in the hospital would be resolved soon.
