The Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat has announced several promotions and transfers of public officials.
According to an official notification issued by the Establishment Division of the Secretariat on June 7, Jamil Haider, a BS-19 officer of Secretariat Group currently working as Director Textile Commissioner’s Organisation under the Textile Industry Division, has been promoted as Joint Secretary of the Economic Affairs Division.
Similarly, Samina Pervez a BS-20 officer of Information Group, currently posted as Director General External Publicity Wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been transferred to the Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation, where she will be working as a Consultant.
Yasmin Saud, a BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service, presently working as Chief Commissioner Large Tax Payer Unit, has been relocated to the position of Executive Director State Life Insurance Company under the Ministry of Commerce. Also, Deputy Managing Director Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Israr Khan Jamali has been allowed to look after the position of Managing Director till the appointment of a regular incumbent under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis.
