RAWALPINDI:
The Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi (MCR) under its ongoing anti-encroachment drive on Thursday, confiscated three truck-loads from different areas of the city.


According to a spokesman, on the special directives of Lahore high Court (LHC), the teams removed encroachments which were hampering the flow of traffic and cleared footpaths in Ganj Mandi, Iqbal road, Namak mandi, Mochi bazaar, Bohar bazar and adjoining areas and confiscated three truckloads of goods. The teams also removed 3 kiosks, 45 illegal sheds and 30 cemented constructions outside the shops in general bus stand, main road and its adjoining areas.
