NAB ‘intervenes’ in development works
Officers were afraid of spending government development budget says LG minister
KARACHI:
Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani said on Thursday that annual development works of Sindh have come to a halt due to National Accountability Bureau’s intervention. He said that officers were afraid of spending government development budget. While talking to the media during his visit to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park, Ghani said that officials were not ready to spend development funds as they were afraid that NAB will humiliate them with false complaints if they spend the money.
