Khalilzad reiterates seeking Pakistan’s support to resolve Afghan conflict
The three foreign ministers will lead delegations from their respective countries in Kabul in an exchange of dialogue over negotiating an end to the Afghan conflict.
Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan reassured the nation of his commitment to achieving a political settlement in Afghanistan.

Earlier this week, Pakistan assured all-out support to the United States for a negotiated settlement of the conflict. The assurance was given by FM Qureshi to US Special Envoy for Afghanistan reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad. Khalilzad reiterated President Trump’s desire to seek cooperation of Pakistan for peace and stability in Afghanistan. Following this, Japan lent its support to Islamabad in wanting to see political reconciliation in war-torn Afghanistan.
