ECP adjourns hearing in TLP registration, funding case till January 2
No one representing Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistans' Rizvi attended proceedings

Submitting a written reply in case against Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistans (TLP) in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Khadim Hussain Rizvi has said he would address the commission’s reservations regarding the party’s funding and registration after his release from jail.
A three-member commission of the ECP headed by Abdul Ghaffar Soomro was hearing the case regarding TLP’s registration and funding on Wednesday.
The panel was informed the TLP leader had received the notice but since he is in protective custody, he could only furnish a written reply addressing their concerns after his release.

However, no one representing Rizvi attended the proceedings. The body also comprising Justice (Retd) Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi and Justice (Retd) Shakeel Ahmed Baloch adjourned the hearing till January 2.
In the last hearing on November 29, Thursday, a five-member commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza, issued another notice to the TLP chief and instructed the district election commissioner to ensure the orders are obliged to as neither Khadim Rizvi nor his counsel had appeared before the commission.
