DI KHAN:
Following militant attacks on security forces, police, target and sectarian killings, the Dera Ismail Khan district administration and police have placed bounties on some 36 people who are suspected to be members of militant outfits.

But unlike past attempts, the district administration has now put up the pictures of these wanted suspects in the town squares of the district. The list has been drafted after gaining input from police, other security forces and even the intelligence agencies.

The list has also been shared with the home department. It is headlined by Haroon Zarar, an active member of the banned Tehreek-eTaliban Pakistan (TTP) with a bounty of Rs2.5 million.

Others in the list include DI Khan-based target killers who have targeted notables of the local Shia community. Even those sharing information leading to the arrests would be given the reward. The identity of those sharing information would be kept confidential
