CarFirst launches Pakistan's first all-female purchase center
The company seeks to revolutionise the way cars are traded and sold in Pakistan

CarFirst, one of Pakistan’s leading used-car online auction and trading platform, has launched Pakistan’s first all-female staff Purchase Center in Lahore.
The company, founded in 2016 seeks to revolutionise the way cars are traded and sold in Pakistan by offering insurance, live auctions, evaluation and certification of used cars. The Purchase Center in Mini Market in Gulberg is fully managed by females including the first-ever female inspection specialist.

“A large number of female customers had requested an all-female center where they can come and have their cars inspected and sold. We are happy to cater to their request and create a space for women to comfortably interact with our female staff,” commented Raja Murad Khan, Co-Founder and CEO, CarFirst.
CarFirst is looking to change the culture of mostly men working in this industry by employing all females in the center. Murad further added that the company is “constantly looking to hire women for traditionally male-dominated roles” and add them to the team as they can excel in all departments of the company.
CarFirst raises ‘one of Pakistan’s biggest rounds of series A funding’
Previously, CarFirst launched the Dost Program, an incentive open to everyone who wants to help their friends or family members sell their used cars to CarFirst.
The Dost has to register online and receive a cash reward for each car they sell. The rewards are based on how many cars are sold; Rs 3000 for the first car, Rs 9000 for the second car. For every subsequent car, the Dost will earn Rs 6000.
