Women’s Rights: Police intervention saves woman’s life

Timely intervention by the police saved a woman from her husband who tried to kill her after accusing her of karo-kari in Mirani Mohallah.

Ghulam Shabbir, and his brothers Saddam and Khadim, tried to kill his wife, Naheed. The neighbours informed the police, who promptly arrived at the scene and saved her.
