During the opening ceremony of the 33rd Trade Expo Indonesia, on October 24, 2018, held in Banten, Indonesia, the Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi Totok Prianamto received the Primaduta award on behalf of Abid Nisar of ATC Pakistan Private Limited. The award was presented by the Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Retno LP Marsudi. On November 19, 2018, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia presented the Primaduta Award to Nisar in Karachi. The Primaduta is awarded to loyal foreign buyers of Indonesian products on an ongoing basis, proven by import transaction for the past three years, the continued increasing import value as well as other criteria. Abid Nisar received the award under the “prospective market” category. In his remark, the consul general stated that the Primaduta award is one of the Indonesian government’s efforts to foster loyal foreign buyers of Indonesian products. The award, he continued, is a special one as it is the first time ever for it to be awarded to a member of the Pakistani business communities.
