Lives Lost: Two women drown in canal

HYDERABAD: Two women drowned while trying to save a girl, Bhagwati Kolhi, from drowning in a canal in Mirpurkhas district. According to the police, the deceased — Parwati Kolhi and Bhagwati’s mother, Chandari Kolhi — were washing clothes on the canal’s bank when the incident happened. Parwati’s dead body has been pulled out while search for Chandari continues.
