JUI-F chief says people facing difficult time
Says country is becoming slave to international lenders
SUKKUR:
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said that Pakistan has become a slave of international financial institutions and a hub of their detrimental activities.
Addressing the Khatm-e-Nabuwat Conference and the Million March on Sunday, he said because of the wrongdoings of the ruling class, the people were facing difficult times. He added that media was not independent today.
Fazl, who is also the president of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), said if it was in his powers, he would not let the present government work even for a single day. He said that he would not let Pakistan become colony of the US and the west.
Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said the explanation offered by the prime minister were ‘insufficient and unacceptable’. He said PM Imran’s direction was not the target of the state.

He strongly praised the provincial leadership of MMA and JUI-F for “the successful Million March”.
He demanded of the media to present the view of MMA and JUI-F clearly. He said that the Islamic and ideological identity of Pakistan was being changed. He said the protests, rallies, Million March were justified.
With regard to the alleged arrival of an Israeli plane, he asked who arrived in the plane and why was the situation not being clarified.
