Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi announced that the federal government is devising a foreign policy that would safeguard Pakistan's interests, Express News reported on Thursday.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, Afridi reiterated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government prioritises national interest over pleasing the west.
Afridi says ‘will not accept any do more demands’
"Unlike previous governments, our strategy entails preserving the country's interests and our first 100-day plan focuses on the same," said Afridi.
Elaborating further, he stated that the government has worked towards improving civil-military relations.
