Lucknow-Karachi flight makes emergency landing in Jaipur

Pilot made a priority landing after receiving an open door indication

A Karachi-bound aircraft made a priority landing at Jaipur airport on Tuesday after the pilot received an “indication of an open door,” reported ANI News.

The private Cessna aircraft had taken off in the morning from Lucknow and was only carrying cockpit crew.

The pilot got the 'open door' indication when the aircraft was over Rajasthan and requested permission from Jaipur airport officials for priority landing to check the aircraft doors for safety.

The plane landed safely following ATC clearance. The Indian Intelligence Bureau has been informed about the development and after inspection by airport team and security agencies, the aircraft was permitted to depart for Karachi.
