Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with Nazria-e-Pakistan Forum (NPF) organised a ceremony to pay tribute to Pakistan Movement veteran Mahmood Ali on his 12th death anniversary.
Former foreign minister Sartaj Aziz said Mahmood Ali devoted his life to promote the passion of "Pakistaniyat" and Nazria-e-Pakistan. ICCI President Ahmed Hassan Moughal said there was a dire need to apprise youth about people like Mahmood Ali who rendered great sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan.
Three freedom fighters martyred in occupied Kashmir
Senator Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Qayyum called for infusing the spirit of Pakistan Movement in the youth to take the country forward.
NPF Secretary Shahid Rasheed, Islamabad Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari, Chakwal Chapter President Raja Mujahid Afsar Khan, Rawalpindi President Prof Naeem Qasim, Press Council of Pakistan Chairman Dr Salahuddin Mangal, Skills Development Council Chairman Akram Farid, senior journalist Javed Siddiqui also spoke at the occasion.
