ISLAMABAD:
Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad in a latest complied ranking remained successful to retain its global position among top 500 universities composed by the United States News and World Report.

According to Global Ranking 2019, QAU stood at 76th among hundred best universities in Asia, the only Pakistani university to achieve this laurel for the country.

The QAU grabbed 46.6 global score, while Agha Khan University Karachi stands at number 572 in the same world ranking.

United States News and World Report is a leading US-based publisher of education analysis and rankings with 33-year experience. The ranking, based on university's academic research and reputation, allows students to compare universities around the world.


QAU partially stopped from offering higher studies

The United States stayed the global leader among research universities, with many US universities dominating the list of top schools. The Best Global Universities rankings were based on data and metrics provided by Thomson Reuters InCitesTM research analytics solutions — focus on institutions' research overall.

QAU staffers block varsity’s transport unit

The methodology weighs factors that measure a university's global and regional reputation; academic research performance using various indicators; and institution-level data on faculty and PhD graduates.
