Juggun Kazim’s House tour trends number five on YouTube



Starting YouTube eight months ago, Juggun Kazim has garnered over 157k subscribers. She recently uploaded a house tour video that landed the number five spot on YouTube trending. She thanked her fans in an Insagram post that read “Trending on #5 on YouTube in Pakistan! Thank you so much for your love and support. Let’s make it #1 guys! Do keep sharing ideas for topics you want me to make videos on.” Kazim is also currently working on a YouTube digital film titled Khirki. Written and directed by Fahad Nur, Khirki address the issue of child abuse and violence from a child’s perspective.

Sooraj Pancholi breaks silence on Jiah Khan’s suicide case



Before committing suicide in 2013, Bollywood actor Jiah Khan left a note accusing ex-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi for ruining her life. Pancholi has remained under trial since.  Celebrating his 28th birthday, the actor addressed the matter saying “It is difficult to express some feelings when so many people and emotions are involved.” He went on to explain that he is not the monster that news outlets have portrayed him to be. “I know it’s easy to think the worst of someone and accuse them but it is exceptionally hard to prove myself innocent as there’s a procedure that we need to follow” he went on to say that he wishes for the trail to come to a fair end so that he and his family can move forward.

Nawazzudin Siddiqui accused of sexual misconduct



Sandhya Menon an Indian journalist leading the campaign against sexual harassment in India shared former Miss India Niharika Singh’s account of harassment via Twitter. Singh’s note states that she developed a soft corner for Nawazzudin Siddiqui during the making of making of Miss Lovely. The note claims that Siddiqui “grabbed” Singh when she invited him over for breakfast. “I tried to push him away but he wouldn’t let go. After a little coercion, I finally gave in” she wrote. The two started dating, but Singh called it off a short while after because of the continuous lies. Siddiqui’s Sacred Games co-star Kubbra Sait has come forward to show her support for him, stating that one must not confuse a bad relationship with harassment. She went on to say that Singh categorising her once personal relationship as a #MeToo statement is incorrectly placed.

Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan share deets about their love lives on Koffee with Karan



The duo got candid about their love lives on an episode of Koffee with Karan. Varun confessed that he was dating Natasha Dalal and revealed his plans to marry her in the near future. Katrina on the other hand, upon being asked how she feels about Alia Bhatt dating her ex, Ranbir Kapoor shared that she doesn’t let other people’s relationships affect her individual equations with them. “I respect and I value that relationship and it shouldn’t change anything for me.”

Priyanka, Nick wedding pictures’ rights sold for $2.5 million



Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra is all set to marry beau Nick Jonas next month. Reportedly the couple has sold the rights of their wedding pictures for a hefty amount of $2.5 million. While fans eagerly await wedding pictures, several international publications were betting big money on Priyanka and Nick’s wedding pictures. The name of the international magazine has not been disclosed; however it will be exclusively covering one of the most awaited wedding ceremonies of the year.

Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma to produce Netflix originals



Netflix has announced the production of nine new Indian original films, unveiling projects by Bollywood stars Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra. Dixit will be producing a Marathi film called 15th August which is set in a chawl (a small tenement), and is a satire about the struggles of middle class India. Bulbul, produced by Anushka Sharma is a period piece set in a vibrant atmosphere amidst age-old beliefs and superstitions. Whereas Firebrand, a venture by Priyanka and mother Madhu Chopra, is “a Marathi film that follows a successful lawyer and sexual assault victim, as she tackles difficult family cases while also dealing with intimacy issues in her own marriage.
