'Maan Jao Na' actor signs film on human trafficking

Elnaaz Nourani is currently shooting for 'Sacred Games 2'

In a short span of time, Iranian actor Elnaaz Norouzi has showed her mettle as an actor and garnered a huge name for herself - both in India and Pakistan. The starlet was featured in Maan Jao Na opposite Ghana Ali and Adeel Chaudhry and later played an important rule in Sacred Games alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan. Now the model is all set to star on a film based on human trafficking, reported Business Standard.

'Sacred Games 2' to focus on Gaitonde-Guruji relationship

Elnaaz said that she was "super happy" and excited to start working on an international project with a London-based production house. The yet to be titled film will be based on human trafficking, focusing on three girls. The Sacred Games star will be essaying one of those girls.

Speaking of her upcoming venture, the actor said, "I really liked the story so I sent my audition tape to the production house. They loved it and quickly got back to me."

She continued, "The plan is that once I get a little bit time from the Sacred Games 2 schedule I will go to London to meet my director and start preparing. I'm super happy about that. This is all I ever wanted -- to act and to be known as an actor and not just a pretty face. I am super grateful."

The actor added, "I got such a great response from everyone from the industry, encouraging me and showing me so much respect which I didn't expect, before sharing I was worried how people will perceive me."
