Man shot dead over ‘illicit relations’ with woman
Police say Noman was returning from court after getting bail in a case when culprits opened fire on him

A man was gunned down over suspicion of having alleged illicit relations with a woman in Vehari’s Burewala City on Sunday.
A police official told Express News that the incident took place within Fateh Shah police station precincts. He added accused Sadaqat Dogar, Bilal Dogar, Iftikhar Dogar, Nadeem and others suspected that Noman Sajjad allegedly had illicit relations with one of the women in their family.
In a fit of rage, the accused opened fire on Noman, killing him on the spot and fled the scene.
The official maintained that the victim was a resident of Chak No 491 and used to work in Saudi Arabia. He mentioned that a few months back Noman came to Pakistan to meet his family.
He revealed that the accused had also lodged a complaint against the victim at the police station for having a relationship with a woman of their family. The police official said that the deceased was returning from court after getting bail in the said case when the culprits opened fire on him.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against the suspects and started investigations.
Earlier, a man gunned down his sister over suspicion of having alleged illicit relations with a man in Muzaffargarh.
Accused Shoaib Ahmed, a resident of Moza Amirpur Daha, had suspicion over the character of her 18-year-old sister Samina Bibi.
The accused suspected that the woman had illicit relations with a man who lived in the same area. In a fit of rage, Shoaib opened fire on Samina, killing her on the spot.
