Govt ‘goes the extra mile’ in imparting education

No quarter will be granted to teachers found absent, CM’s adviser says

QUETTA: Adviser to the Chief Minister on Education Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri has said the provincial government has gone the extra mile in utilising all available resources to improve quality of education in rural areas.
“Concrete measures are being taken to ensure attendance of teachers in educational institutions across the province in order to achieve the standard of knowledge,” said the education adviser while talking to APP on Friday.

"Negligence will not be tolerated in this regard," said Lehri, adding that the provincial government was aware of public matters and was taking effective steps for their resolution in order to provide relief at their doors.
“The government is focusing all of its attention on ensuring sustainable progress in all the fields of educations,” the adviser added.
He urged all segments of the society, stakeholders and teachers to play their due role in addressing the issues of education for attaining the goal of knowledge in respective areas of the province.

Balochistan governor urges promotion of quality education

“Foreign countries got developed by focusing on promotion of education while modern curriculum is significant for supporting better quality education,” he said. "Efforts are also underway in respective areas of the province to enrol out-of-school children."
He urged parents to bring their children to school so that they may have a better and bright future.
He said it was the top priority of the government to provide training to teachers so that quality of education could be enhanced in the areas, adding that the government was paying special attention on mathematics, science and information technology subjects.
“It is the need of the hour ... education is the primary right of each and every child and the government is committed to ensure all children receive education," he added.
