Cricket: Kabul not to play in Pakistan

Due to the delay from the Afghan board, the PCB has been forced to rule out their participation: PCB official

LAHORE:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has refused to include Kabul in the forthcoming domestic eight-region Twenty20 Championship in Faisalabad. Last month, Afghan coach Rashid Latif had urged the PCB to include Kabul as Afghanistan’s regional team in order to help the developmental process of the Associate Member. “Due to the delay from the Afghan board, the PCB has been forced to rule out their participation,” PCB Governing Board member Amir Nawad told The Express Tribune. “The PCB had to get the logistics, marketing and broadcasting issues sorted and couldn’t afford further delays.”
