Pakistan tennis ace Aisamul Haq Qureshi and his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna beat Ivan Dodig and Alexandr Dolgopolov 7-6, 6-4 to reach the quarter-finals of the Halle ATP tournament.
This was the Indo-Pak Express’ first outing since their French Open quarter-final exit at the hands of Mike and Bob Bryan.
The quest for a title brought their heightened morale to Germany to register a straight-set victory.
Recently, the Pakistan tennis star achieved his career-best ranking of eighth on the ATP World Ranking list of doubles and number two in the Asian ranking.
