Ahsan Iqbal appointed convener of committee

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif and President Shehbaz Sharif have announced an 18-member Central Organising Committee to reorganise the party.
According to a notification, Ahsan Iqbal has been appointed as the convener of the committee.
The committee, working under his leadership, will have three priorities. First, to fill the vacant positions; second, to activate inactive organisations; and third to devise an action plan for mobilisation of the party at lower level.
The committee’s members include Abdul Khaliq Wasi, Amir Muqam, Asad Jonejo, Ghalib Khan, Hamza Shehbaz, Khawaja Asif, Khawja Saad Rafique, Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Qadir, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Nelson Azim, Nuzhat Sadiq, Owais Leghari, Rahila Durrani, Rana Sanaullah, Rana Tanweer Hussian, Shah Muhammad Shah and Ataullah.
