"So, it’s been five days since we came into this world - me as a mother and my little Izhaan as my son. We’ve even watched Baba play some cricket together since we’ve arrived," wrote the new mommy. "It truly is the biggest match or tournament achievement I’ve ever won or had, and there is no feeling or blessing that can be greater than this."

After a few hectic days, Mirza finally got some time on her hands to respond to all the wishes. "I finally have gotten some time after this overwhelming feeling to get online and check the messages and love we have received," she added.

Power couple welcomed their first child last week. The former captain of Pakistan cricket team made the announcement in a tweet early Tuesday morning.
“Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual,” he said.
