Sufi Mohammad indicted in two cases
Sufi Mohammad had tried to impose his own brand of Sharia law in Malakand division.

A special anti-terrorism court in Peshawar has formally indicted Sufi Mohammad, chief of the banned terrorist organisation - Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi.
Special court judge Aasim Imam delivered his verdict in two cases and indicted Sufi Mohammad. The hearing was held in a special court set up in the Peshawar Jail.
Hearing of two other cases has been adjourned until June 27 due to absence of the authorities concerned.
Muhammad was arrested by authorities in July last year from Peshawar. He had pursued demands for imposition of his own version of Sharia in Malakand division for almost two decades.
