HYDERABAD:
The Sindh culture department has earmarked funds in the 2011-12 budget to translate into Sindhi the poetry of revolutionary poet, Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
Sindh Culture Minister Sassui Palijo said this while addressing the 100th birth anniversary celebration of Faiz, organised jointly by the Sindh Adabi Sangat and the culture department. The department will also honor renowned poets with the ‘Faiz Award’ by end of this year.
