Flawless Pakistan complete clean sweep over Australia

Men in Green register 33-run win in third T20I in Dubai on Sunday

Pakistan thrashed Australia by 33 runs in third T20I to complete a clean sweep in the three-match series in Dubai on Sunday.

After opting to bat first, the Men in Green posted a competitive total of 150 for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs, where Babar Azam finished with the top score of 50 off 40 balls with the help of five fours and one six.

He was well-supported by his opening partner Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 39 off 38 balls with the help of two fours and three maximums.

For Australia, pacer Mitchell Marsha was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed two wickets.

In reply, the visitors had a difficult time once again with the bat and were bowled out for just 117 in the 20th over.

Middle-order batsmen Marsh and Ben McDermott finished the innings with the top score of 21 each off 24 and 20 balls respectively.

For Pakistan, leg-spinner Shadab Khan was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed figures of three for 19 in his four overs.

Balki | 5 years ago | Reply It was not a "Flawless Performance" by any stretch of the imagination. We were good but there is a loooot of room for improvement. What also helped was the fact that Australia played below Par. Anyhow, congrats to the Green Shirts.
